The sky’s the limit! Now that you are ready to make your selections, go to the 3D cube on the left menu bar and select Finishes Settings
Selecting Room Finishes and Cabinet Options :
You can make your door style and finish selection at any time. Choices can be made for all cabinets or for individual units. You can also make a selection for uppers and a different selection for lower cabinets. The sky’s the limit! Now that you are ready to make your selections, go to the 3D cube on the left menu bar and select Finishes Settings
Select the drop down menu in Finish. This will allow you to select your door surface and color.
In finish options you will see that there are decorative surfaces, paint grade, solid wood & veneer surfaces available. Once you make your door selection, select your finish choice.
Below Finish, you will find Walls, Flooring and Countertop material. Go through each of those and select colors that are close to what you will be using. That way, when you use the rendering color mode you see something similar to your finished project.
Now that the Finish Settings are done, drop down to the Cabinet Front Settings. Start with your door settings. The options are None, Shaker Reversed Raised, Shaker Route for Glass, Slab (decorative) and Slab (wood veneer)
Select door style and continue to drawers.
Once in drawers, make your selection.
Next, select Cabinet Box Settings, you will see that there are options for the box material, construction method and toe kick options.
Select the Box Material drop down menu. You will see that you have a number of options in all the different categories, make sure you check them all out. The box material is what your actual cabinet is made of. You can choose to make the interior match your doors, or in some cases, you may want to save money and go with a less expensive material for the box. Keep in mind that whatever you choose may show slightly with the doors closed.
Construction Method is the next selection to be made. This is in reference to your toe kicks. Integrated is standard but leg levelers or no toe box is also available. The last option is to turn the toe kick off all together.
The final step in the selection process is the Drawer Box Settings.
A metal drawer box or doweled birch drawer are the last of the cabinet construction options to make. Both come with full extension, undermount, quiet close drawer guides. Make sure you save your work when you’re done selecting. Now that your selections are saved, you will be able to look at pricing as you are working on the design.
